We'll leave Lake Como to arrive as soon as possible at Linate's airport to deliver the car. We'll take a taxi from there to our B&B at Milan's centre and will spend the rest of the day to visit the places we are specially interested, like Duomo's Square area. We also have already booked and paid tickets to see Da Vinci's "Last Supper" at Santa Maria delle Grazie Church at 6:45 PM.

Our room is not ready yet so we leave our luggage and walk to Duomo's Square, which we reach in 10 minutes. The view of the cathedral is spectacular.

Then we get into the popular Galleria of Vittorio Emanuele II, a shopping mall that is a highlight by itself. It's a beautiful building and is full of shops of the fanciest clothing brands and restaurants.

We choose one of those restaurant for our last lunch in Italy. We know it's going to be expensive, but I had the wish of eating a risotto with Parmesan cheese and they have it here. So we order that risotto for me, ravioli of cod for Eva and one tiramisu to share. Everything, with wine and coke makes a total of 69€. It is including some extras, like slices of pizza while waiting for our meal and some sweets of meringue and nuts at the end. All of it was delicious.

We decide to come back to the B&B to get our room and return later here for our visit to the cathedral. After some rest we're back in the street by 4:30 PM. It starts to rain, though, so we walk back to take our umbrella from our room Once outside with the umbrella it is no longer going to rain. That's life!
View of Sforza Castle from Duomo's Square Duomo's Square of Milan   We pay 3€ per person as admission fees for visiting the cathedral. It is huge and is quite impressive inside, with those lines of big pillars.

We come back to out room to take our tickets that we got online to see Da Vinci's "Last Supper" and take a taxi to Santa Maria delle Grazie (Holy Mary of Grace). We pay 9€ for the ride.

Even though it's 6:15 PM and our tickets for the 6:45 PM session must be validated before 6:30 PM, we're told it's too early and make us come back at 6:30 PM. While waiting we can admire the Church from outside. There is a monk that is not allowing to enter to the church to anyone that is not invited to the praying event that he tells me is happening.

We get our tickets at 6:30 PM and we're asked to put all bags in a locker. The case of my camera and Eva's purse are taken as "bags" here and we have to left them there, although we can take anything we need from inside, like my camera or Eva's cell phone.

At 6:45 PM we get into a long rectangular room which both short walls are covered with murals. The one at our right is what we came to see: Da Vinci's Last Supper. We've seen so many versions of this work that it seems unreal that we're looking at the original right now.

We try to pay attention to every detail. For example, we didn't know that the feet of the characters were painted too. The mural in the other wall is bigger and is representing the crucifixion of Jesus and the two thieves. This work is Montorfano's "Crocifissione". Every session is of 15 minutes and, when they're reached, the visitants are requested to leave the room.

After taking our belongings from the locker we walk a bit until reaching Sforza Castle, which appears with lights since it is already dark. We take another taxi from there to the B&B for which we pay 8€. Before going to our room we buy some sushi and soup from the supermarket to make our dinner in the kitchen of the B&B.
