Before
We've got an early flight back to home, at 8:15
AM. Our
only task to do here is leaving the hotel, which is close to the
airport, and boarding this flight leaving us in our destination at
afternoon, after a short link in Istanbul.

After
It’s around 7 AM when we take the bus for the short ride to the airport by 1200 soms each, as we learned in Day 4.
This is the final step of this travel, as the plane is bringing us back
t home with no issues, after a short link in Istanbul.
We’re very happy about this chance of knowing these less known areas of
the world, but fantastic ones, with a huge cultural heritage that can
be explored wonderfully without mass tourism. Whether Azerbaijan or
Uzbekistan are fully ready for tourism and they haven’t got that point
when everybody is trying to get as much money as possible from the
tourist, where everything for it is overpriced in comparison with the
local cost of living.
I’ve put below pictures from
the two places that have brought us to this adventure: Gobustan in
Azerbaijan and Samarkand’s Registan in Uzbekistan. We’re very grateful
to these places to makes learn these two countries are a lot more than
just a couple of sites.
