Day
9 (May 18, 2026) Furong
Before
We will start this day in Fenghuang and can still fit in
some sightseeing in the morning, but around midday it will be time to
catch a train to our hotel in Zhangjiajie, a one-hour journey.
Once settled into our room and having had lunch, we will visit Furong,
known as the waterfall village. We will travel by train again, as it is
only a 23-minute ride each way.
The idea is to tour
Furong along the platforms that pass by the waterfalls and head back at
dusk, right after getting the chance to see the village lit up.
Once
back in Zhangjiajie, we could still take a stroll around the hotel
area, since we are staying right next to the 72 Wonder Towers.
